Cement Grinding Capacity Upgrade |

Project Goals Upon execution of kiln and raw mill production capacity upgrade project during the year 2003g, and upon relative stability of daily production at the aspired 4000 tons of clinker per day, it has become inevitable to upgrade the clinker grinding capacity. |
| This project aims at increasing the overall cement production capacity from 160 tons/hour to 240 tons/hour achieving a 50% increase in capacity to absorbe the increased kiln production of 4000 tons/day, which consequently responds positively to the equable increase in cement sales. |
Project Status The project was awarded to KHD - Germany on 19/12/2003, to install a pre-grinding facility before cement mill no. (1), and also a dynamic separator, which enables said mill's increase of production from 80 to 180 tons/hour. The project kick off date was 31/12/2003. This project is planned for completion within 16 months. During the first week of December, 2004, all equipment were deployed at the work location. In addition, all civil works have been completed. The project was successfully commissioned by KHD and taekn over by TCC on 24th November 2005. |

In accordance with the environment protection policy, and out of the company's keenness to cope with all environmental standards in order to keep stack emitted dust ratio below the international rate of 50mg/Nm3, a contract has been signed with UBE - Janan, on 19/03/2004g, to supply and isntall a new dust filter which will achieve a 20mg/Nm3 emission ratio. Project kick off date was 17 May, 2004. The project was successfully commissioned by UBE, Japan on May, 2005. |
